Frequently Asked Questions

What is CBD?

CBD stands for cannabidiol. It is one of over a hundred known cannabinoids present in hemp. THC, or tetrahydrocannabinol, is the most publicly known cannabinoid for its psychoactive properties, the one that gets you “high”. However, there are now strains of hemp that have virtually no THC, but a concentration of CBD instead.

Does CBD get you high?

CBD has no psychoactive component. You cannot get high on legal CBD products made from industrial hemp. Strains of hemp used for hemp products must contain less than 0.3 percent by weight. 3rd party lab tests of our product produced a ‘non-detectable range’ for THC.

Is CBD legal?

Yes. The 2018 Farm Bill was passed, making CBD farms and products legal in every state. Since the bill was passed, CBD hemp (industrial hemp) is no longer under the DEA jurisdiction. The FDA now controls regulation of CBD products.

What is the recommended dosage?

Results may vary from person to person. As with any new item added to your daily regimen, it’s always best to consult your doctor for advise in your specific case. Start with a small amount and slowly increase until you feel comfortable with the dosage. Our most popular Farmer’s Batch 1500mg tincture is typically taken in one full dropper, one or more times a day by adults. We recommend smaller dosage for pets and kids determined by weight. Our 500mg tincture may work better for children and furry family members.
